The University of New England is currently seeking expressions of interest from people interested in joining the AEC in the capacity of:

Category D – Layperson/Community representative - A person not employed by or otherwise associated with the institution and who has never been involved in the use of animals in scientific or teaching activities.

B - A suitably qualified (higher degree in research or equivalent experience) person with substantial and recent experience in the use of animals for scientific purposes relevant to the institution and the business of the AEC.

Dr Jamie Barwick

B - A suitably qualified (higher degree in research or equivalent experience) person with substantial and recent experience in the use of animals for scientific purposes relevant to the institution and the business of the AEC.

Dr Peta Taylor

B and Deputy Chair - A suitably qualified (higher degree in research or equivalent experience) person with substantial and recent experience in the use of animals for scientific purposes relevant to the institution and the business of the AEC.

Dr Carole Cannon

C - A person with commitment to and established experience in furthering the welfare of animals, who is not employed by or otherwise associated with the institution, and who is not currently involved in the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.

Ms Clare Campbell

C - A person with commitment to and established experience in furthering the welfare of animals, who is not employed by or otherwise associated with the institution, and who is not currently involved in the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.

Mr Colin Wood

C - A person with commitment to and established experience in furthering the welfare of animals, who is not employed by or otherwise associated with the institution, and who is not currently involved in the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.

Ms Leah Kliendienst

C - A person with commitment to and established experience in furthering the welfare of animals, who is not employed by or otherwise associated with the institution, and who is not currently involved in the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.

Mrs Pam DuttonD - A person not employed by or otherwise associated with the institution and who has never been involved in the use of animals in scientific or teaching activities
Mrs Joanne GowenD - A person not employed by or otherwise associated with the institution and who has never been involved in the use of animals in scientific or teaching activities
