Borrowers from other universities
Students and staff from other Australian and New Zealand universities can apply for borrowing rights at the University Library under the University Libraries of Australia and New Zealand (ULANZ) scheme.
How much does it cost?
There is no fee if you are from one of the ULANZ Participating University.
How do I apply?
Apply by completing these steps:
- Download the application form.
- Complete the form.
- Attach a recent colour passport photograph (not a scanned image).
- Supply proof of current enrolment.
- Submit the form in-person to the Service Desk in Dixson Library. You will also need to bring some photo ID (an ID card from your institution or your driver's licence).
How long does the process take?
About two weeks. We will post your ID Card to your postal address, enclosing a packet of information about the Library and its services. You will be able to borrow as soon as you receive your Card.
What are my borrowing privileges?
Staff and students of other ULANZ institutions have a standard loan period of fourteen (14) days. They can borrow a maximum of twelve (12) items from the general collection at any one time and can renew items twice before returning them.
Items loaned are subject to recall and late renewals or returns will attract overdue fines. Borrowing privileges are blocked if fines in excess of $20 are acrued.
If you require further assistance, please contact the Loans Team on (02) 6773 2458 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
