Tertiary Preparation Course
TRACKS is a tertiary preparation course (Foundation Studies) run by the Oorala Aboriginal Centre, UNE. Over two trimesters you will experience what uni study is about and learn in a supported environment. Be part of a community of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students who share your goals and interests! TRACKS is designed to assist students with the development of study skills and the transition to mainstream university courses. You will develop confidence and academic skills and you will also take an undergraduate unit in your area of interest that may count towards your UNE degree.
TRACKS can be studied either on-campus or fully online. To find out more, please see the information below or contact the Oorala Aboriginal Centre.
Applications for admission to commence study in the TRACKS program are now open.

I am currently studying the Oorala TRACKS program at UNE. I would say to anyone looking to gain study skills for tertiary studies that this program and the Oorala staff have been unbelievable in their support throughout my journey and I couldn't be more grateful. - William Lawrence
It felt a very daunting task to return to study. Finding the TRACKS course at UNE came at the perfect time for me, as I didn’t know how to study or where to begin. It has given me the tools and confidence to study at university level. The program is really enjoyable and being part of the TRACKS course at UNE has been an amazing experience. I have found my love of learning again. - Bronwyn Murphy
