COVID Safe Campus

COVID Update

  • UNE Armidale, Tamworth, Taree, Sydney and Regional Study Centre sites are open.
  • People have the right to wear a mask for personal reasons and their decision will be supported by UNE.
  • Actively practice and promote good hygiene, especially hand washing.
  • If you are feeling unwell or you have tested positive for COVID-19, or have any respiratory symptoms please don't come to a UNE site until symptoms are resolved (recognising that COVID-19 is one of a number of transmissible respiratory viruses).
  • NSW Health strongly recommends people who are sick or have tested positive to COVID-19 stay home until their symptoms have gone.
  • Most student and community services on the Armidale campus are open – UNE Life Services Update
  • Our approach to COVID-19 is under continuous monitoring and review. These guidelines are subject to any changes to NSW Public Health Orders.
  • COVID-19 testing is available - check your local testing clinics.
  • Maintain an approved vaccination status; check advice on boosters and eligibility from the NSW Government.
  • Consider getting a flu vaccination as well.

A COVID Safe Plan

The University must safeguard, to a reasonably practicable level, the health and safety of students, workers and other stakeholders on campus. This includes having measures in place to eliminate or manage the risks arising from COVID-19.
