Have you ever wondered what determines a consumers decision to eat meat alternatives? There is a growing social trend for consumers in Western societies to shift away from eating certain meat types and become vegetarians, and vegans.
Professor Monika Hartmann and PhD candidate Ms Jeanette Klink-Lehmann are from the Agricultural and Food Market Research at the Institute for Food and Resource Economics for the University of Bonn in German. They will be speaking at a seminar for the UNE Business School about people's attitudes towards eating meat and the consumption of edible insects as a solution to overcoming global food security and environmental challenges.
The seminar will be held on Wednesday 13 November at 11:00 am at W40-LT2 EBL Building.
