Where to Park

Visitors

Visitors to campus can park free of charge in timed bays. Timed bays on campus are 15 minute, 30 minute & 2 hour.

Alternatively visitors can park in our Purple (Visitor) or Blue (General) Permit bays but to do so must purchase a virtual parking permit either on-line or by using the Strada Mobile parking app.

The Strada mobile parking app can be downloading off the web from stradamobile.com.au or you can use the QR code below to download the app onto your phone. You can purchase short term parking from 1 hour to 7 days.

Parking permits can also be issued to eligible visitors by University faculty's & departments in the form of a "scratchy" (Scratch & Display Permit) . Details about Scratch & Display permits are available from Parking Administration on 6773 3485.

Strada mobile virtual permits or Scratch & Display permits allow you to park in either Purple (Visitor) or Blue Permit bays only.

Pay for parking operates between the hours of 4.30pm & 8.30am Monday to Friday. At weekends & on Public Holidays parking on campus is free of charge in permit bays.

Staff & Students

Staff & Students are eligible to purchase Blue, Purple & Red virtual permits only.

  • Blue virtual permit allows you to park in Blue permit bays only.
  • Purple vitrtual permits allow you to park in both Purple & Blue permit bays.
  • Red virtual permits allow you to park in your assigned Red bay or any Blue permit bay.

Students can also park in our Purple (Visitor) bays but must purchase a valid virtual permit from either a UNE Parking Machine or Strada mobile parking app to do so. Students with a Purple virtual permit may park in both Purple & Blue permit bays.

Contractors / UNE Vehicles

Eligible contractors are issued with a Green virtual permit. Green virtual permits are also issued to UNE pool vehicles. Green virtual permits allow parking in Green & Blue permit bays only. However, Green virtual permit holders are also allowed to park in Loading Bays with no time restrictions.

Available to Staff with a UNE login only is an interactive map that shows the type & location of all parking bays on the main campus. This includes our Permit bays (Blue, Red, Purple & Green) as well as Timed, Disabled, and Loading bays.
