2020 Annual Appeal
Making a difference!
A message from the Vice-Chancellor and CEO
One of the outstanding features of UNE is the diversity and quality of our alumni and the high level of goodwill which you hold towards our institution. You are the people who create and make real the values of this University in your actions and life, and we know that through your increased involvement we will become better at what we do – providing a unique student experience.
As the Vice-Chancellor of the University I ask you to support the 2020 Appeal and to make a commitment to become involved with your alma mater through the UNE Alumni programs and our other activities. I am proud of what the University has achieved as the leading regional university in Australia with proven experience in the delivery of an outstanding online student learning experience. We are a leader in many fields of research and as a regional Australian institution actively engaging with regional issues, we are making an impact across the world.
I would recommend reading the 2020 Giving Report: Catalyst for Change for a selection of stories about generous people like you who have recently made donations to UNE, as well as the projects and students they support. In 2019 we welcomed 144 new donors who supported us and this year the University has been able to offer 149 scholarships supported by your donations, more than double the number on offer the previous year and a new record for UNE. So, we know that your generosity can make a real difference.
You can make an online donation below and will find some further information about each of your giving options in the 2020 Appeal. Please contact the University’s Office of Advancement, Communications and Events if you want to discuss more specific donations to support scholarships, specialist programs or to plan a bequest.
I look forward to your support in 2020 and hope that you stay well.
