Event Cancellation and Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances may change which have an effect on your ability to attend events that have been booked and paid for. Should your attendance plans change the following will apply:

Name Change

A substitute delegate can be nominated to attend in your place at any time prior to the start of the event. There is no fee for a change in delegate name.

All name changes must be advised in writing by emailing advance@une.edu.au.

Cancellation of Registration

Should you be unable to find a replacement and you would like to seek a refund, the following applies:

Up to 48 hrs prior to the event - Full refund.Participants may cancel their registration without penalty up until 48 hours prior to the event.
Within 48 hours of, or after an event - No refund.Cancellations received within 48 hours of, or after an event will not be eligible for a refund.

All cancellations must be made in writing to advance@une.edu.au.

Cancellation of an Event by UNE

UNE reserves the right to alter or cancel, without prior notice, any of the arrangements relating directly or indirectly to an event, for any circumstances beyond UNE’s reasonable control. This includes the cancellation of an event itself.

UNE’s maximum liability is limited to a full refund of the registration fee. UNE accepts no additional liability for travel, accommodation or any other additional costs incurred.
