Recognising Alumni Achievement

More than 100,000 people have graduated from UNE, with many of them going on to hold senior positions around Australia – and abroad – in business, government, education, research, the arts, and community development.

Our alumni consistently rank UNE with the maximum five-star rating for Overall Satisfaction and Teaching Quality in the Good Universities Guide. The well-rounded and unique education our alumni experience while studying at UNE, ensures our graduates not only go on to be successful in their careers but remain active members of our local, national and global communities.

About the Alumni Awards

UNE acknowledges the outstanding professional achievements and community contributions our alumni have made with the Alumni Awards.

UNE began recognising the outstanding achievements of its alumni in 1994 with the introduction of the Distinguished Alumni Awards. Since that time, a number of other awards have been added to fully recognise significant graduate achievements at different life and work stages. Visit the full list of Honorary Degree recipients here and Alumni Award recipients here.
