Abstract
My presentation is part of my Ph.D. research. In this presentation, I will summarise the papers published in various journals, where we explored the effects of human capital, globalization, and innovation on economic growth.
The study also examined the factors that facilitated the transition of 27 countries from middle-income to high-income status. We analysed the spill over effects of globalization using the Spatial Durbin Model and a newly developed spatial weight matrix. Additionally, we demonstrated how governance influenced the transition of 20 middle-income countries to high-income status, compared to 42 middle-income countries.
