SFK - Arts & Crafts

Brought to you by the artistic wizards of the Robb College SFK Representative Team, this is your chance to shine in not one, but a whopping nine creative categories. You can practically feel the creative energy buzzing!

💚 Who: All On-Campus UNE Students
⏰ When: Monday 18th August, 6:30 pm –
📍 Where: The Bistro, UNE

The Lowdown:

👉 Each team can enter a maximum of two contenders per category.
👉 Each piece must include a blurb (max. 50 words) describing the work.
👉 No recycled masterpieces—entries must be original and never before entered in a creative competition (including HSC work).
👉 Submission deadline: Deliver your masterpiece to the Bistro between 10 am – 2 pm on the day of the gallery viewing.

Competition Categories:

📸 Photography – A black and white or colour print with no digital enhancements.
🎨 Painting – A work using one painting technique (e.g., watercolour, oils).
✏️ Drawing – A work using one drawing technique (e.g., pencil, pastel, crayon, chalk).
🧶 Craft – A work using one craft technique (e.g., stitching, woodwork, sculpture, pottery).
💻 Digital Art – A digitally enhanced creation (e.g., digital designs, edited photography).
🧩 Mixed Media – A work combining multiple techniques from any category.
🎬 Short Film – A 30-second to 3-minute film featuring a narrative, creative cinematography, and technical proficiency.
✒️ Poetry – A one-page poem following a structured poetic measure. Entries must be typed with a cover sheet (title & word count). The author's name and college should not appear on the work, and each page must include the title.
📖 Short Story – A fictional piece (max. 500 words). Entries must be typed with a cover sheet (title & word count). The author's name and college should not appear on the work. If exceeding one page, all pages must be numbered and titled at the top.
