In partnership with Nviro Media and Thankful4Farmers, filmmaker Suzannah Cowley directed and produced Thankful for Soil to raise awareness of the importance of soil health. She will be joined by UNE’s Associate Professor Chris Guppy (soil fertility), Associate Professor Lisa Lobry de Bruyn (soil health and knowledge sharing), and Dr Ivanah Oliver (soil science), as well as Richard Daugherty (Farmer, Balala Station, Uralla) and Geoff Bassett (Soil Consultant, Mojo Farms).

Thankful for Soil is a 21-minute documentary that celebrates the story of Australian farmers who are using the soil beneath their feet to combat climate change and build a brighter future for their family farms.
