The Russel Ward Annual Lecture honours the memory and legacy of one of the University's most celebrated scholars, and one of the most influential Australian historians of his generation - the late-Emeritus Professor Russel Braddock Ward.

This year the 39th lecture will be given Professor Emerita Heather Goodall
