The presenter, Dr Rob Nicholls, is Senior Research Associate at the University of Sydney. His first degree was in electronics and communications engineering. As part of a forty-year career, Rob was Australia’s Independent Telecommunications Adjudicator from 2012 to 2020. His research work is at the heart of AI issues, focusing on the intersection of technology and regulation. He also advises senior executives of regulators and governments, both in Australia and overseas.
