Student and Employer Records NEW
An academic record, or academic transcript, is the official record of all final subject results achieved throughout studies at UNE and can be requested at any time. An Academic Transcript can also be known as an Academic Record. A Testamur is the certificate awarded at the attainment of a degree.
Academic transcripts
An academic transcript is an official document that provides a comprehensive history of your enrolment with the University. The Confirmation of Enrolment is your proof of study at the University. Current Students can request the document via AskUNE.
Student administrative records
Access to student records, other than academic transcripts, are restricted to authorised officers of the University who show a legitimate need to peruse a student file in their normal course of business. Students have the right to view data about themselves contained within university records. The requirement for making GIPA application for viewing one's own student file has been waived by UNE. However, twenty four (24) hours notice, and proof of identity is required before access to a student file is approved. All enquiries regarding student access should be directed to AskUNE.
Testamur and qualifications
If you require a replacement copy of your Testamur (certificate of attainment for your degree), you will need to provide the University with the relevant documentation for your circumstances. Click here for more information.
Digitally certified copies of their graduation documents are available from My eQuals for student who graduated from December 2021 onwards.

Employers wishing to confirm an employers qualifications:
- If the employee is a graduate, request via alumni@une.edu.au
- If the employee is a current student at UNE, make a request via AskUNE.
Please supply the Graduate’s name, date of birth and stated degree. You will receive confirmation by a return email.
