Are you interested in Big Data, what it is and how it can be used to transform your organisation or community? If you are, then this short course is for you!
Major technological advances in recent decades mean that data is omnipresent, springing from a diverse range of outlets, often in real time and in volumes never experienced previously. There is almost too much data from multiple and often-complex sources – but how do you capture, analyze and communicate what you need to enhance decision-making?
Big Data is transforming all sectors including agriculture, mining, utilities, health, trade and tourism, business and personal services, environment, government, and not for profit and community sectors.
This Short Course is designed to give you the chance to learn about the latest developments in Communicating Big Data.
With a focus on the implications for business and drawing on real-life case studies, this course covers topics including the architecture and evolution of Big Data, its collection, storage, systems management, and its application, analytics, presentation, regulation and ethics, delivering both theoretical and practical know-how.
