Resources for Students

The academic staff of Zoology have many years of experience working with various types of animals. Their experience and research are incorporated into the teaching material, providing students with skills that are applicable to real-world issues. Zoology teaching is embedded in cutting edge research which is integral to UNE’s Centre for Excellence in Behavioural and Physiological Ecology (BPE).

Students will also have access to the new Agriculture Education Building (AEB) which is host to a range of state-of-the-art research laboratories and teaching facilities custom-designed to provide optimum practical experience during a science degree. Additionally, within the AEB is the new Natural History Museum, which contains a range of up-to-date displays covering the breadth of zoological sciences and natural history that enhances the learning experience.
