Dr Jackie Lea

Jackie is the Coordinator for Higher Degree Research Programs and a Senior Lecturer in Nursing in the School of Health at the University of New England. Jackie is a Registered Nurse who teaches across a broad range of nursing subjects in the pre-registration and post graduate nursing programs, including areas of clinical practice, professional issues and clinical education. As well Jackie teaches an interprofessional evidence based practice unit at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. Jackie is an active researcher whose research interests include the transition process from student to beginning level clinician, clinical education and workplace learning in health, quality and safety in healthcare.
