Become an Affiliated Fellow

Affiliated Fellows are appointed by the UNE-APC for a period of three years, renewable. Affiliated Fellow status is available to academic staff of UNE, staff of other Australian and overseas universities and institutions, and other suitable individuals.

The UNE-APC Affiliated Fellow position provides the opportunity for scholars of the Asia-Pacific, whatever their discipline, faculty or university, to develop active collaborative links with the Centre. Membership of the Asia centre will enable Fellows to be involved in current research and/or research training programs or to develop new inter-disciplinary projects and teams.

Affiliated Fellows will be provided access to the UNE Asia-Pacific Centre facilities, and where possible, some temporary office space may be provided to visiting Affiliated Fellows.

Applications to become Affiliated Fellows, which should include a CV and statement on proposed collaboration and contributions to UNE-APC are invited and should be sent to Dr Ken Fraser at the address below.

Affiliated Fellow, a category of formal attachment to the UNE Asia Centre, was ratified by the (then) UNEAC Board in 2002.  Affiliated Fellows of UNE-APC are Centre appointments and are not related to or affect other University level honorary or adjunct appointments. The UNEAC Affiliated Fellow status carries no formal UNE-level status.
