Gabriel is a professor in the Business School and joined UNE in 2015. He has served on the University Council, been elected President of the UNE NTEU branch and is the national treasurer of the Australian Association of University Professors.

Cassandra is a senior lecturer in clinical psychology and has been at UNE since 2018, first as an international HDR student, and then as a member of staff. She lives in Armidale with her family (partner, toddler and two large dogs) and is passionate about promoting cultural responsiveness and celebrating diversity. .

Courtney Baker

Courtney Baker (she/her) is a proud Wiradjuri woman dedicated to supporting and empowering Indigenous students in higher education. Her journey with the University of New England (UNE) began as a student, where she found a strong sense of community through the Oorala Aboriginal Centre.

After completing her Diploma in Community Welfare and Wellbeing, Courtney transitioned into a full-time role as the Student Engagement Officer at Oorala. In this position, she mentors and supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, ensuring they have access to the resources and guidance needed for academic and personal success.

My name is Jane (she/her) and I am based in Victoria. I am in a fixed term contract position in the School of Education. I am a teacher, a current PhD student and a mother of three children. I grew up in regional Victoria and now live in the northern leafy suburb of Eltham (outer suburbs of Melbourne).
