She lives in Armidale with her family (partner, toddler and two large dogs) and is passionate about promoting cultural responsiveness and celebrating diversity. .

Courtney Baker
Courtney Baker (she/her) is a proud Wiradjuri woman dedicated to supporting and empowering Indigenous students in higher education. Her journey with the University of New England (UNE) began as a student, where she found a strong sense of community through the Oorala Aboriginal Centre.
After completing her Diploma in Community Welfare and Wellbeing, Courtney transitioned into a full-time role as the Student Engagement Officer at Oorala. In this position, she mentors and supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, ensuring they have access to the resources and guidance needed for academic and personal success.

I grew up in regional Victoria and now live in the northern leafy suburb of Eltham (outer suburbs of Melbourne).
