COVID-19 — Permit Refund

Due to the negative impact that the Corona-virus has had on both students & staff, the cost of parking permits will be waived for the remainder of 2020. For those that purchased a parking permit this year via credit card & are seeking a refund please complete the;

Parking Permit Refund form.

Requests will be processed within 10 days from application. If there is a problem processing the refund back onto the original credit card used to purchase the permit, our Finance Directorate will contact you.

Those that purchased a red Parking Permit via Salary Sacrifice this year have had any deductions paid refunded back into their wage by Human Resource Services.

Deferral

For those that do not elect to apply for a refund the money you paid for this years permit will be transferred over to next year & you will be issued with a 2021 parking permit (of the same type) free of change. Details about the distribution of these "free" parking permits to those who have deferred payment will be made available towards the end of the year.

Note: Those parking on campus in 2020 still need to display a valid parking permit and comply with UNE's Parking Policy and Procedures. As such, those who did not already have a valid parking permit before the declaration of "free parking" must obtain one through the UNE Parking Application portal. These will be free of charge for the remainder of 2020.
