University of New England offers the most comprehensive range of sheep and wool units in Australia. The units provide students with industry contacts, include visits to fine wool producers, tours of wool processing plants in New Zealand and an intensive school run at Australian Wool Testing Authority in Melbourne.
Students can be enrolled directly at the University of New England or participate in the units offered by UNE via cross-institute enrolment as part of your existing degree.
The Australian Wool Education Trust directly funds the delivery of the units and provides financial support to students to travel to intensive schools, prizes for academic performance, scholarships for undergraduate and postgraduate study and funding for research in sheep and wool science.
