Eve Woodberry

Ms Eve Woodberry is the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Students and Social Inclusion), a position created in 2010 in response to the Bradley Review’s focus on widening participation to students who have not previously had access to university. This is combined with the University’s stated aim of providing an excellent student experience, through the provision of academic and personal support to students.

The portfolio responsibility of the PVC (Students and Social Inclusion) includes a broad range of student support services: Student Administration and Services, University Library and Archives, the Oorala Aboriginal Centre, the Student Residential system and the Student Relationship Management application.

Eve commenced as PVC (Students and Social Inclusion) after two years as PVC (Academic) and seven years as University Librarian. During her time as University Librarian Eve was responsible for the development of a Learning Commons in conjunction with the Teaching and Learning Centre and Information Technology Directorate utilising funds obtained through a successful Capital Development Pool application.

Eve is also the current Chair of the Public Lending Right Committee for the federal government, http://www.arts.gov.au/books/lending_rights a position she will hold until 2013.
