Ms Evelyn Woodberry
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) provides strategic leadership for the University’s academic quality assurance program and oversight of the University’s Teaching and Learning Plan.
The portfolio responsibility of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) includes a broad range of student support services: Student Administration and Services, University Library and Archives, Teaching and Learning Centre and Oorala Centre. The Student Services Plan developed in conjunction with the International Precinct and Residential Colleges includes an outline of the academic and personal support services available to students.
Eve Woodberry commenced as Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academic) in July 2008 after seven years as University Librarian during which time she led the transformation of the Library to a modern Learning Commons, the establishment of a University Art Collection Advisory Committee, and together with the Information Technology Directorate and Teaching and Learning Centre was successful in attracting significant Capital Development Pool funds to assist in the development of services and infrastructure.
Eve is currently the Chair of the Public Lending Right Committee for the federal government, a position she will hold until 2010.
