Who can obtain Legal Office advice?
The Legal Office can provide legal advice to UNE staff on matters of UNE business.
The Legal Office does not provide legal advice to staff on personal matters.
The Legal Office does not provide legal advice to students.
Requests for Legal Advice
Requests for legal advice should be made in writing to the Director Legal Services or by email to legal@une.edu.au or by making an appointment.
Legal Professional Privilege
To maintain legal professional privilege in respect of confidential, complex or litigious matters it is important that the Legal Office takes charge of the matter and that all correspondence is marked “Highly Confidential and Privileged”.
