LeadershipThe Vice Chancellor's Student Leadership Program is an extra-curricular course for students which runs once every Semester. It is designed to further develop the skills students already possess in leadership. Through formal training the program aims to: Develop the practical skills of leadership On successful completion of the Vice Chancellor's Student Leadership Program, participants will be presented with a certificate by the Vice Chancellor, and recognition will be shown on their academic transcript. CareerThe Student Assist site provides more information about the wide range of university-based services available in the area of careers. TheVirtual Careers Fair is held annually in March and is free. You can participate in chat room discussions, practice interview performance and submit details to prospective employers online. The Workready Scheme is an official UNE program to provide an opportunity for UNE students to undertake approved work placements with appropriate employers, either as an academic unit or as non-academic work placement.
