Counselling and Careers Services

The staff of the Student Assist are here to ensure that you have as smooth a passage as possible through your degree and into future employment. The counsellors can help you with any personal, social or psychological related problem. These services include the following:

  • The Student Financial Assistance Officer can assist with financial problems.
  • The Careers Officer is here to help you seek and obtain a job at the end of your degree.
  • The WorkReady Officer can assist you to enrol in a WorkReady unit as part of your degree.
  • Face-to-face and telephone consultations are available.
  • Workshops are run on campus.
  • Self-help audiotapes are available.
