Educational development
An educational developer will work with a Unit Coordinator and/or members of the teaching team to give suggestions on educational options for teaching and on enhancing the educational effectiveness of teaching materials.
Educational developers can advise on the following:
- learning activities and assessment tasks which will motivate students and support their learning
- structure and layout of materials for ease of use
- other media to supplement print material for example audio tapes, videos and interactive multimedia.
Consultations providing general advice are available to all staff. Significant teaching material development projects are serviced through the Faculty Project Scheme.
