Running your online unit
There will be a number of things to attend to during the teaching period for each online unit you coordinate. This section of the guide summarises these and provides links to information and resources that can help you organise the process.
- You are responsible for the ongoing and day-to-day operation of your online unit, which can include discussion forum moderation or the maintenance of other WebCT tools.
- There are also some tasks associated with principal dates in the teaching period. You will be sent email reminders and notifications from UNEonline about imminent events that might affect your unit and about upcoming workshops or information sessions.
- During the teaching period you may wish to add different activities and features to your unit and make changes to access for your colleagues.
- There are also some things to consider at the end of the teaching period.
