OCR

Large text documents can be scanned and optical character recognition (OCR) software employed to create editable MS Word documents. This is most commonly used to create electronic documents from hard copy sources, for example when the original electronic source has been misplaced. Before OCR is employed the UNE copyright officer should be consulted by clicking on the ‘contact us’ tab on the AskUNE page to submit an enquiry.

Technical queries can be addressed to the Graphic Designer by clicking on the ‘contact us’ tab on the AskUNE page to submit an enquiry.
