University study can be quite a challenge, whether you are on-campus or off-campus, a recent school leaver or coming after some time in the workforce. The tUNEin and tUNEin@distance peer support programs provide support and encouragement to first year students to assist them to make a successful transition to university study.
The tUNEin peer support program links new internal students with a senior student enrolled in a similar degree program.
The tUNEin@distance peer support program links new external students with graduates of UNE from the same faculty of study and, if possible, living in similar geographical locations.
Supporters can help new students to understand university expectations, structure their own study and can refer students to relevant support services.
