Mindmaps

These patterns can be used to record information in mindmaps (concept maps). The process of constructing mindmaps is simple: identify the main points or concepts; see how they connect with each other; then arrange them in an appropriate form. Research shows that people who use these summarising maps improve their ability to understand and recall information. Making the maps is a process of ACTIVE learning. This technique helps you to organise content, save time, improve recall and use creative thought processes. Mindmaps can be used for brainstorming a new topic, planning, notemaking, summarising and revision.
