Purpose of the site
The aim of establishing this web site is to raise the awareness of staff to the needs of vision and hearing impaired distance students. The site provides access to information and resources for staff preparing learning materials which can be made accessible for students with vision or hearing impairments.
The suggestions made in each section will benefit all students. They should be easily integrated into routine planning and preparation of learning materials for all students.
The web site comprises 3 sections which provide some basic information and links to alternative or more detailed sources.
