Resources
Academic Development Unit staff at TLC design, develop and maintain a wide range of online and print teaching and learning resources.
Unit Development
The TLC supports unit development through curriculum development, unit review and workshops. A range of accompanying resources have been developed to assist unit coordinators to develop their units. Guidance on constructing learning outcomes, choosing assessment tasks and developing graduate attributes are provided.
Cultural Diversity and Inclusive Practice (CDIP)
The University of New England is home to a vibrant multicultural community. The Cultural Diversity and Inclusive Practice Project aims to promote a university-wide appreciation of the cultural diversity that exists at UNE and to foster an environment of mutual respect and inclusive teaching and learning practices. To this end, the project supports Priority B in UNE’s Strategic Plan to “create regional to global impact” and responds to recommendations of two recent reports on internationalisation at UNE1,2. Resources for the CDIP toolkit can be found here.
Electronic Assignment Submission and Turnitin
Many assignments are now submitted electronically through Moodle and have their originality checked through the integrated system TurnItIn. TLC staff have designed and developed user manuals for staff and students and web-based information and instructions related to these processes. Information about assignment submission and Turnitin in Moodle is available here.
Teaching Online @ UNE
The http://adu.une.edu.au/teach is the TLC blog, where we publish news and events, including workshops and research and development projects and project opportunities as well as information and resource links.
