Welcome to the Teaching and Learning Centre.
The Teaching and Learning Centre (TLC) is responsible for:
- Academic staff development and services; and
- Student learning and development support including providing foundation skills/enabling pathways to future and potential students.
There are two major teams within the TLC: the Academic Team, which also includes the multimedia group, and the Learning Resources Team. The Academic Team is responsible for academic development and training; student learning support and student development; and foundation skills/enabling pathways. The Learning Resources Team provides the academic services of production and despatch of learning resources, assignment handling and copyright compliance assistance.

ADU month in review: April
ADU launched its first series of Coffeecourses professional development courses in April. These had a great uptake by UNE staff, but for the first time were also accessible by people at other institutions, and had participation from as far afield more »

Database or discussion forum ?
The database tool in Moodle allows students to submit text, images and multimedia and have fellow students comment/rate their contributions. The webinar for this week will provide examples of how the database has been used effectively by UNE academics and show how it could be used as an alternative for some activities traditionally associated with the discussion forum. more » Continue reading
