Unit Timetabling forms
The scheduling requirements for your units are provided to us via tables in a Word document which are emailed to unit coordinators at the time we are required to collect this information. We need it in electronic format and not in paper-based format as these forms are registed in TRIM since they need to be shared and accessed by more than one person in the Timetabling. Storage and retrieval from TRIM is the most efficient way to receive and process these forms for scheduling.
Since semester timetabling has different requirements as to dates/times and certain other information from intensive timetabling, there are two different form types to capture this information from you. Please click on the relevant form type to see help on how to complete these forms.
A separate form is generated for each teaching period that a unit is offered in. For example, if a unit is being offered in ON (on-campus) mode in S1 and in OF (off-campus) mode in S2 with a mandatory intensive school in July, then you will receive two forms: a semester requirements form for the Semester 1 teaching period and an intensive requirements form for the July intensive teaching period.
Even if the unit is offered in both semesters and the teaching components (lectures, workshops) are the same, we still need two different forms. This is because all units offered this way do have differences, namely the number of students and thus different rooms and number of classes in each semester and they are taken by different student cohorts.
