Open2Learning

TLC's Open2Learning project provides professional development to UNE staff in the areas of educational technologies, teaching flexibly, LMS skills and more. Our eLearning Commons is a purpose-built training lab with 12 dual-boot iMacs and a SmartBoard, and hosts several hands-on workshops each week. To see our training program and find out what workshops are currently available. We also offer tailored one-to-one training for staff who want to explore specific or additional skills - contact Catherine Clarke to book a time.

TLC also runs the Open2Learning resource site within Blackboard. All staff should have access to this unit via My Blackboard. If you don't have access, please contact Sarah Christopher to request access. The unit hosts a wide variety of training resources, including tutorials, print resources, links, discussions with colleagues, screencasts and more. You can also access resources for TLC's current projects, such as the Assessment in the Round project and our Online Teaching Standards Review for peer- or self-review.
