Undergraduate and Postgraduate Courses

Our undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Nursing deliver the professional outcomes you're working towards in your career as a health professional.

Bachelor of Nursing

The Bachelor of Nursing equips graduates with the key knowledge and skills necessary for the practice of nursing. Students who successfully complete 6 trimesters of full-time study (or part-time equivalent) exit with a Bachelor of Nursing and are eligible to seek Registered Nurse status with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a professional nurse in Australia and by mutual recognition in New Zealand. The course aims to give graduates an appreciation of the value of life-long learning and a firm foundation for further study at a postgraduate level.

Bachelor of Nursing with Honours

The Bachelor of Nursing with Honours provides an opportunity for students, under the guidance of a supervisor, to plan and implement a research project in the area of nursing practice. Knowledge and experience gained by students through completing this program will contribute to the knowledge base for nursing practice.

Master of Nursing Practice

Students who successfully complete the Master of Nursing Practice are eligible to seek Registered Nurse status with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency (AHPRA) as a professional nurse in Australia and by mutual recognition in New Zealand. This is a graduate entry-level course designed for those who hold an existing AQF Level 7 Bachelor degree or equivalent qualification and who are not registered to practice as a nurse in Australia, and who are seeking a career change to the nursing profession.

Postgraduate courses

Postgraduate courses including Graduate Certificates, Master of Nursing, PhD.
