ECE Bachelor of Teaching
Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education)
The UNE Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education) is a third year (equal to one year full-time or eight units of part-time study) of University distance learning building upon two years of study recognised by the Faculty and at least one or two years of work experience after your study. When you complete seven core units and one elective unit, you graduate with a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education). This course is focussed on the birth to five year old age group and related services. The length of study time varies with the number of units undertaken each semester. New students enrol in only one unit during their first semester of study.
After completing a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education), Bachelor of Teaching graduates may apply to continue studying for a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education); this is offered externally. The BEd(ECE) is a fourth year of University study.
