Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)

After completing a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education), or its equivalent, graduates may apply to continue studying for a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood). The course focuses on the birth to 8 year old age group and is designed to be responsive to the diverse employment opportunities of early childhood teachers and related services. There is a 'K-2 Primary Pathway' option across the BT(ECE) and BEd (EC). The BEd (EC) part of the pathway will continue only for 2009 applicants. Please note a replacement study pathway for primary teaching is being explored beginning from Semester 2, 2010 or 2011.
