General Information

Wendy heads a successful canine research program at UNE and manages the dog research facility as a Quarantine Approved Premises. She has been conducting non-invasive dog research at UNE since 1997 by ‘borrowing’ privately-owned dogs. The interactions between nutrition, behaviour and genetics in the dog are central themes, as well as a focus on canine dental health.

Speciality Areas:

• Companion animal health and nutrition
• Canine dental health
• Urate urolithiasis in the Dalmatian
• Canine social behaviour
• Grass eating behaviour in dogs
