Research interests

Therese has a strong interest in expanding the professional role of the pharmacist in a developing collaborative health system in Australia and hopes to use her existing professional network to undertake community-based research into this changing role. Her clinical interests include geriatric medicine and the management of gout in the community. For a number of years Therese co-facilitated an Evidence Based Medicine “journal club” for GPs with A/Prof Michelle Guppy and is interested in building student skills in critical appraisal across a range of health-related disciplines.
