1. Mental Health Education
Exploring contemporary and innovative delivery of teaching materials, especially in regard to new web based delivery modes.
Practice development and evidence based practices as they relate to contemporary mental health nursing practice, research and policy.
2. Community Development
Building and developing protective and resilient communities.
Professional contribution to rural community development, and future planning.
Developing and delivering practical health related programs with grass-roots effectiveness in rural communities.
3. Mental Health Research
Qualitative research of mental health issues, especially related to rural communities. Young people’s mental health issues related to emergent mental illness.
Exploring help seeking behaviours during emergent mental illness phases.
Mental health nursing practice.
