Rose Williamson became a full-time member of staff in the School of Arts in 2011. She has a bachelors degree (with first class honours) in music from University of Queensland, a graduate certificate in creative writing from QUT, and a doctorate from UNE for her thesis ‘Crafting the Creative Life: The Rhetorical Dimensions of Selected Australian Quilters' Magazines 1988–2005’. Rose also has extensive experience in professional writing, editing and publishing.
