Research interests
An agricultural entomologist with interests in biological control and other alternatives to pesticides, integrated pest management, ecology of major agricultural pests, especially in cotton, and the applications and environmental impacts of GM crops. Program Leader (innovative Technologies) in the Cotton CRC, and UNE’s representative on its Management Committee. Research funding (~$300k annually) comes mostly from the CRC and from CRDC.
