Pauline has extensive recent clinical experience in Palliative Care Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist and Clinical Nurse Consultant. She has a passion for aged care and Palliative care nursing and is particularly passionate about end-of-life care. Pauline has been teaching nursing at a tertiary level for the past 4 years, at both undergraduate and postgraduate level. Pauline's passion for Palliative care and end-of-life care has led to her completing a Masters of Nursing (Palliative Nursing) in 2005 and she is now working towards a Doctor of Philosophy in nursing with a primary focus on undergraduate nursing students experiences with simulation and end-of-life care.

Pauline's passion for teaching and learning has resulted in completion of Graduate Certificate in the Practice of Tertiary Teaching (University of Newcastle). Pauline is very excited about teaching at UNE with a passionate group of nursing educators who are committed to providing quality learning experiences including the use of dynamic and innovative learning strategies such as simulation.
