Areas of Teaching
Research interests
My two areas of research activity are Neuropsychology and Psychometrics. Within clinical neuropsychology my primary emphasis has been on acquired brain injury (traumatic brain injury, stroke), but I have also researched populations with degenerative (HIV, multiple sclerosis) and congenital (hydrocephalus, learning disabilities, foetal alcohol syndrome) neurological disorders. Similarly, I have tended to focus on adult populations but have also conducted studies with the elderly and with children. Within psychometrics I have been involved in a number of projects concerned with the psychological assessment of clinical populations.
