Leanne has worked at the Centre for Neuroscience and Animal Behaviour since 1997, and is responsible for the daily care and feeding of the marmoset colony, and assisting students in learning how to care for these primates. Currently Leanne is doing Honours in Animal Behaviour, examining Food Calls in the Common Marmoset. This project will be investigating whether marmosets have more than one food call, which foods elicit these calls, and whether these calls signal information regarding food quality or quantity to other marmosets.
