I received my BSc and MSc degrees in Computer Science from Cornell University and The University of Arizona in 1986 and 1988, respectively. In 2003, I was awarded the PhD degree in Advanced Engineering Systems by The University of Tsukuba, Japan. My current research interests include Evolutionary Computation, Agent-based Modelling, Computer Vision, Security Informatics, Pattern Recognition and Data Mining. I am a Senior Member of IEEE and a Senior Member of ACM. I also serve as an Associate Editor for the Human-centric Computing and Information Sciences (SpringerOpen) journal.
