I graduated with a double degree (with Hon.) in Maths and Computer Science from the West University of Timisoara, Romania (1976), followed by a Master in Operation Research (1977) and a PhD in Maths/Comp.Sci (databases, 1998). I worked as a researcher in computer science, a technical manager of Computer Centre, and as a lecturer at West University of Timisoara, Exeter University (UK), and University of New England, Armidale, AU. I published 43 papers and 10 books.
Research interests
My research interests include databases, modal logic, belief theory, concurrent processes, fuzzy and rough sets, multi-sets, bags, e-commerce and security.
Teaching
My teaching duties include web and CGI programming, non-procedural languages, software engineering and artificial intelligence.
